Video Driver For Laptop

I installed a game on my laptop but it doesn't work. Requires shader model 2.0. My laptop is a Dell Latitude D600 with windows xp. I updated my driver and the best I could get was Radeon 9000. Is this correct or is there a better one that will work?

There are some 3rd party "tweaked" drivers that sometimes will work a little better, but I've found that the either the laptop manufacturer or the GPU company (Nvidia or ATI) will have the most stable drivers; And not to mention that they usually keep up-to-date on them as well. Unfortunately this is an older laptop, so you may be limited by technology and what the company can do with drivers.

Since this will be legacy drivers. I would go with the latest Dell or ATI that they will detect.

I see this one, but it's update 2008. So I don't thik your going to get much better than that

Yeah that one won't do it either. Any of the nvidia compatible with my laptop?

No. ATI and Nvidia are different companies. neither are compatible
