Default Upgrading a Alienware M14x Suggestions

I purchased a alienware m14x maybe about 3-4 months ago, and I'm a speed demon and want more power now. The specs are as follows of my machine.

I7 2630QM 2.0Ghz
6GB Ram DDR3
500GB 7200RPM Drive
Nvidia Geforce Gt 555m

Here is what I'm thinking about a upgrade I want to get a

SSD Drive

Upgrade ram to 8gb of instead off 6gb

and switch my cpu to
Newegg.com - Intel Core i7-2720QM Sandy Bridge 2.2GHz (3.3GHz Turbo Boost) 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket G2 45W Quad-Core Mobile Processor Model BX80627i72720QM

I know the SSD is going to make a nice jump in speed, but with me upgrading my cpu should I get better FPS in games since its a quad instead of a dual? My graphics is integrated so I'm stuck on that.

What capacity are you looking for in a SSD?

You know that games don't use more than 4GB, right? But if you want to future-proof yourself: Newegg.com - G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Laptop Memory Model F3-12800CL11D-8GBSQ

I don't think upgrading to a quad will give you more FPS. FPS depends more on your GPU.

I know that upgrading the cpu wont effect graphics and details, but I would think it would be less stress on a quad than a dual freeing up some cpu use. Which in return might give me like 5-10 more FPS more, given 400 buxs for only 5-10 more fps is it worth it I'm not sure yet lol. Yea but I would like to get the ram at least its fairly cheap, even if BF3 dosent use more than 4gb that will give a little bit more to my OS :-) lol

I think that's a good deal, I already have on 4gb stick so I actually only need one more 4gb stick, I will wait till black friday though when I order my SSD as well.

He will not gain much, if at all, by upgrading. He already has a beast of a system.

Don't get a Alienware, they are hugely overpriced. You can get a equal one for less than $1,000. I think he paid $1,200.
