unable to delete files waiting to be written

I have a file that will not delete, it is stuck on waiting to be written to cd, I have tried everything to delete it and I get close all applications, running xp and have tried restore nothing is open, tried to delete it from every place and get the same message close all applications. the file is Explorer_AudibleShellExt.log

Any help appreciated. thanks
