toshiba nb305 won't power on

it's almost as if I were to unplug the power and remove the battery and hit the power button. Absolutely nothing.

busted jack, no, the charge light comes on, but that is all. I'm getting a good 19 v out of the charger. I pulled the battery because with some laptops a dead battery will cause it not to start.

I even for giggles swapped out memory. (I don't think this would have anything to do with it and apparently I was right)

is this a frequent issue with these netbooks?

this netbook was working 2 days ago, it was just in my computer shop, now nothing. it was out of my presents so anything could have happened to it. He said he was using it last night, this morning nothing.

It has 1 gig and every messenger you could think of + all their toolbars.

Could be your PSU is shot. This still under warranty?

I have the same problem with my nb305. Power indicator lights are on and can hear what I assume is the hard drive but the computer does not start up. Was wondering if you had found the problem yet.
