Default tailgate tv to laptop

I am a student at Texas Tech and we want to set up a TV at our next tailgate. Our tailgate is in a big lot with the closest buildings (restaurants) a good 500-1000 feet away. We plan on renting a generator. Well, what would be the best way to get the televised channel to the tv?

The things ive seen possible are:
1. tv tuner dongle and connect with hdmi to tv so the tv is a 'monitor'
2. wifi card dongle and stream off the internet (I think ESPN has a stream during the game)
3. I have an extra directv dish at home, maybe mount it on the trailer and get a box for it (doesn't the satellite have to be perfectly angled though?)

Thanks so much in advance
