T8300 vs P8400

I was wondering which one of these is better. I don't know how to decipher the information on the page.

T8300 Intel® Core™2 Duo Mobile Processor T8300 - SLAPA

P8400 Intel® Core™2 Duo Mobile Processor P8400 - SLB3R

Each are about the same, the T8300 is slightly faster, but the P8400 is probably better because its a lower heat production (better battery life) for around the same performance...

If it really comes to deciding though I'd say take whichever is the lowest price..
