No No. I used windows 7 DVD to format the drive as my windows XP installation disc doesn't have a format option. So after formatting with the windows 7 dvd, I used windows XP to install CD to install XP

XP does have a format option, you know.. But XP's and even 7's format is garbage, see my sig. Direct link to the Gparted guide provided by Mak.

My XP installation disc didn't give me a format option. But thanks for that app. I'll be sure to use it if I need a format. Thanks.
