Default Suggest a laptop?

I'm buying my girlfriend a laptop, and she needs it for photoshop, e-mail, internet, and the basics like iTunes.

I don't want to spend over 700-800$, but I'd like good quality and performance out of it.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would suggest not to buy her a laptop, girlfriends are expensive even without buying them laptops hahaha.

this comes out to $750 with the mail in rebate and tax. at first you will pay around $800 - HP Pavilion G60-120US NoteBook AMD Turion X2 RM-70(2.00GHz) 15.6" 3GB Memory 250GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce 8200M - Laptops / Notebooks

i considered buying this but then found out i wouldn't need it.
great reviews and something good for someone who doesn't go all out and expects something great.

ADM Turion x2
15.6 screen
3gb DDR2
250 GB HD
Nvidia GeForce 8200M
LCD Bright Screen
Webcam and Mic

sounds like a pretty decent machine

maybe because the Acer has a **** graphics card compared to Geforce 8200M it aint much but better than the Intel GMA X3100. also you get a slight bigger screen and the reviews say its better. and when using a computer like this i believe the CPU doesnt matter if its for someone that isnt going to try to go the limits with it.
