if you look on the inside part of the exterior slide switch, you'll probable see the broken square peg the came off that little silver switch on the motherboard, you can't glue it back on but you might get an idea on how it works

It appears that there is a piece of plastic broken off inside the tiny little slot... Do I need to dig it out of there?
