Smart Purchase?

For about $850, i got the following refurbished laptop:

1gb ATi Mobility 5850
i5 430m
4gb DDR3 1066
250gb 7200 RPM HDD
Its a 15.6"Alienware (I know, I know, but it seemed like a smart purchase) with a 1600x900 screen.

I believe it will work on anything from the Dell Outlet, but I'm not sure.

Does anyone know if the M15x comes with a GDDR3 or GDDR5 version of the 5850? I've heard the with the GDDR3 the memory bus is a huge bottleneck and want to know if my laptop has one.
