Default Should I buy this laptop?

Cant really find anything better the 17" screen is a must.

Not bad. I'm not really a Gateway fan, but it looks okay for the money if your on a budget. I prefer this one Alienware M17x Laptop Product Details but it is way expensive and you pay for bling mostly.

I think that's probably your best bet; looks very nice to me.

I'm actually a fan of Gateway laptops. They seem like one of the few companies that don't tack on extra crap to their laptops to jack up the price like glossy covers or "12 megapixel webcams". They don't seem to have as much crapware installed as other brands, either.
