Default school/light gaming laptop

im looking to get a laptop for college soon. its mainly going to be used for plain school work, internet surfing, typing/powerpoint, and gaming. mostly WoW, CSS, maybe diablo 3.
which of these lappys is the best overall in terms of CPU, GPU, and brand quality/reputation.

MSI GX-630 - MSI GX630-028US NoteBook AMD Athlon X2 QL-62(2.00GHz) 15.4" Wide XGA 4GB Memory 250GB HDD DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT - Laptops / Notebooks

Asus F50SV-X1 - ASUS F50SV-X1 NoteBook Intel Core 2 Duo T6400(2.00GHz) 16" 4GB Memory 320GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce GT 120M - Laptops / Notebooks

i like the bigger HDD and screen of the asus, but according to the reviews it has not so good battery life.

Both brand are good quality. I would be going for the ASUS because it as the better specs.

Gaming laptops are not know for their battery like.
The MSI does come with a with a button that will allow you to go into battery saver mode.
