hey guys,
bit of a jam, could use some advice. I have had an IBM R32 thinkpad (i know ancient right) that i have had for some time without any problems. until now that is, got the dreaded blue screen of death, and after that it would freeze up prior to loading to desktop. had it checked out, and basically, tech guy says physical hard drive is shot and that my best bet is too save what i can, and replace the hard drive.
as i dont really care for whats on there, i would like to replace HDD as quickly as possible. But i wouldn't even know where to start to look for compatible HDD for such an old laptop.
Any suggestions on compatible hdd's or are all of them pretty much the same?
i believe the most that r32's support is 40 GB. and is this something that i can find on like Newegg or tiger direct?
Thanks for all your help guys.
