Application Removal

1. Collect the system's Serial Number, Service Tag, or ESN
2. Submit a request to Absolute Software for CompuTrace removal

(ISC LSPs can contact ProDesk for additional assistance)

3. Await confirmation that the request has been processed
4. Connect the system to the internet to allow Absolute Software to remotely remove CompuTrace


Once CompuTrace has been removed, the system will no longer be tracked by Absolute, and it will no longer be counted against your purchased licenses.

This process does not surprise me. Otherwise, every computer theif will be calling up Dell (or whoever) making the same claims that the OP did.
