Question Question

my dad just recently bought a prosumer HD camcorder and we wants to be able to edit the video on his laptop. so my question is would this - ASUS N82JQ-B2 NoteBook Intel Core i7 740QM(1.73GHz) 14" 4GB Memory DDR3 1066 500GB HDD 7200rpm BD Combo NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M laptop be able to run video editing software.

premier elements reqs are 2ghz minimum and core 2 duo for other options.
