Default Pulling My Hair Out (Acer Aspire drivers)

Help a semi-attractive chick NOT go bald from pulling her hair out! (heh)

I just downgraded my Acer Aspire 5336 from 7 to XP, and I cant find a wireless driver for the Nplify card that works on XP. Someone, somewhere, should be able to help, I know it! I dont have allot of time on this other computer I'm using, so I figured the biggest techie forum on the net could help.

All I get from google results is crap at the moment, and the laptop I'm using to download the driver has a touchpad issue so it's clicking eeeeeverything and I'm finding it incredibly hard to search for what I need...Can anyone help a gal out here?

Thanks so much in advance,
Sabby/HillbillyJane

That a Broadcom or Atheros? Tried looking online at their Broadcom/Atheros site? They might have drivers for XP.

I've tried putting both Atheros and broadcom on a flash disk - none of them work. Never had THIS much trouble finding drivers before :/

Are these drivers from Acer's site? They may not be compatible with XP.

The ones on the Acer site are for XP only, unfortunately, that was the first avenue I checked.

Well if the manufacture does not list drivers for xp than its most likely for windows 7 only. Does not mean its not impossible to find them, just need to research harder and find tools to help out. You can use drivereasy Driver Easy - Auto Detect, Download, Backup, Restore & Uninstall Drivers which is free but slow download speeds (your going to need a internet connection through lan) or use device doctor Free Driver Update, Driver Download Software - Device Doctor. Either way good luck.
