I'm looking for the perfect laptop. For me obviously just one to fit my needs.
It needs to be cheapish ($100-$500)[they all need to be inexpensive ] and be perfect for PROGRAMMING[all of the different languages eventually].
I'm sure that basic functions like internet, email and pictures are alread applied but if not then I will look over that one.
If you get what I'm saying then GREAT! Please make a suggestion!
If you don't get what I'm saying considering the time right now and the fact that I'm on a super sugar buzz please, ask me to explain more.....

Thanks for your help and hope to see some good replies!

I don't think you will find one under $500 to crunch numbers, especially in the more advanced coding.

Are you going to college for this? You might want something better if so. Might last you the first year...

I have a Pentium dual-core in my laptop, and for compiling my small-ish c++ programs for classes, it gets 'em done pretty quickly.

That's why I was specific as to what I was doing it with ;). He never said what language he is programming in, nor what even area of study he is in, so I gave an example of what I have/was doing.
