I'm in the process of buying a Lenovo x201 laptop while these crazy Black Friday sales are starting. I've narrowed the choice down to two computers with two different processors.
The thing is, I can either pay $835 for an x201i that includes an Intel Core i3-370M Processor (2.40GHz, 3MB L3, 1066Mhz FsB) and can't be upgraded, or I can pay $1.3k for an x201 laptop with the same stats that has an Intel Core i7-620M Processor (2.66GHz, 4MB L3, 1066MHz FSB).
Is the better processor is worth the extra $450?
I'm starting college as a CS major, so I'll be using it everyday things as well as programming. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this is my first laptop! :]
