I'm really not making use of my ABS gaming laptop and I just purchased an ultra portable so I can bring a lappy around with me to classes, work, etc. easily. The ABS laptop I need evaluated is an ABS Mayhem G3 Eclipse XT. Specs:
2.0 Ghz Turnion 64 MT (single core but still uber fast)
2 gb ddr pc2700 ram (1 stick of 3200 1 stick of 2700 i believe)
256mb dedicated x1600 video card
100gb hd
Dvd Burner, Wifi, Webcam
15.4" Glossy display
Working battery, roughly 2 hour charge,
Weight is under 6lbs with battery
Includes Battery, Ac Adapter, manuals, and recovery discs. I probly still have the original box, too.
Bought for $1349 + $90 for another gig of ddr in September 2006 and used medium for about 6 months, then very lightly up until now. Plays games like Oblivion and Quake 4 on high settings without a hitch and is in like new physical condition. Not a scrape, scratch, or dent on the thing. Could stand for a quick cleaning but that's about it.
I'll post 3dmark scores in a little bit but I was hoping for around $800. I bought this a few months before dual core and ddr2 became cheap so I know it's lost value. It's not of much use to me so I do need to sell it. What's it worth?
