I sent out my compaq presario to a guy in Ma to have the touchpad fixed, he says he fixes it, it's not a brand new system but it is newer, and I have been using a Targus power cord since my dog ate mine..anyways, he calls me today and said he was about to ship it back, and that it wont come on because the targus power supply is only putting out 18volts rather than 19 like it should and it caused it to blow a resistor/ cap in the mother board, now he is trying to get ME to pay for the laptop he just now screwed up. Am I missing something or is this guy trying to run up the bill on me. He said nothing happens, and he has tried several power cords...IDK TF HELP!
