Default nw 8000 processor

I got an HP nw-8000 mobile workstation laptop from a recycling plant, fixed it up a bit, and now have it as a laptop. It works all nice and fine, but I was wondering one thing.

Do I have to keep the Pentium M in there?

Is it possible that I could bump it up to a core solo/duo?

Just wondering...

According to HP's site, it only can run the Pentium M 715, 725, 735, 745, or 755.

So, I would say no.
