Smile (New). Not sure what to buy! :) & Hello.

(I posted this in the New Introductions part, but thought it may be better posted here?!.. Possibly? Probably not? D

Hello !
I'm new to this, but joined for a little advice!

I'm starting University in a few weeks, and I want to buy a new laptop.
I also play a few games every now and then, and I'm interested in playing GW2 (but it's not a big problem if it won't run smoothly on the laptop)...
I also watch films/programmes on websites such as Netflix.

So....
I have around £800-ish.
I've been looking at these two laptops.
Which should I opt for?

Dell Inspiron 15R SE:
Processor 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3612QM processor (6M Cache, up to 3.10 GHz)
Operating System Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English
Display 15.6in High Definition (1366X768) WLED with TrueLife
Memory1 6GB1 DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz
Hard Drive 750GB Serial ATA (7200RPM)
Optical Drive 8x DVD+/-RW Optical Drive
Video Card 2GB AMD Radeon HD 7730M
Advertised System Weight 6.09 lbs
(£789)

Or
Dell Inspiron 17R SE:
Processor 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i5-3210M processor (3M Cache, up to 3.10 GHz)
Operating System Windows® 7 Home Premium, 64bit, English
Display 17.3in Full High Definition (1080p) LED Display with Anti-Glare
Memory1 6GB1 DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz
Hard Drive 1TB Serial ATA (5400RPM)
Optical Drive Optical Drive : 8x DVD+/-RW Optical Drive
Video Card 2GB Nvidia GeForce GT 650M 90W
Advertised System Weight 7.23 lbs
(£779)

I haven't the foggiest about laptops really.. But apparently the second one is better due to the graphics card?
But the first one has a better processor? (I think)?

If you have anything better to suggest at a similar price, please let me know

Thank you!

Yeah, the first one has a better GPU.

I don't like Dell myself.

I did find alternatives though. I was looking for ASUS or Acer with an equivalent to your Inspiron 15R

If you want a 15": Asus N55SL Laptop - Laptops | Ebuyer.com
If you want a 17": Asus N75SL Laptop - Laptops | Ebuyer.com

The graphic card in these are very close to your first Dell. And the price is a bit lower.
