New laptop: Asus or HP?

Hey guys, a friend of mine bought a laptop at Worst Buy with the ESP, etc. etc. Anyways, she has around 7-800 dollars to spend on a new laptop thanks to Geek Squads massive knowledge of computers and how they work (/sarcasm.)

We got it narrowed down to the Asus X83VB-X1 and the HP DV4-1225DX. Based on my experience with Asus, I highly recommended it. However, I wanted to see what you guys thought, or if there's another 700-800 laptop at Best Buy that you guys would recommend. She needs a 14.1" screen, and other than that, she doesn't really seem to care. Thanks, guys!

Secondly, if you don't want to check the links, the HP has an AMD X2-R72 and the Asus has an Intel T5800. Other than that, the stats are pretty equivalent.

I would go for the Asus, it has a better cpu and graphics card.

Buy online... you'll get more for the money...

but if you have to buy one... I would say go for the ASUS myself.
