Need some advice on laptop purchase

I'm trying to decide between a used, 2008 dedicated gaming laptop (Toshiba Satellite x205-s9810) and a new, open-box laptop (Toshiba Satellite M645-S4070)with an i5 and 1 more gig of RAM (3vs4)

I'm just curious if a 3 yr old laptop that was probably a 1,500$ + unit at the time has any advantage over the new faster processor and more RAM laptop?

I can get the x205 for about 200$ and buy a Win 7 OEM for another 130$. The new open box one is 450$ish. I realize the old one has a bigger monitor and a dedicated video card, but still, will the new one out perform it?

Also, forgot to add, I'm buying a laptop mostly to play Diablo 3 upon release

It is good to be dedicated, but I don't think a 2008 graphics will be able to platy Diablo 3 at high settings. Integrated is even worse.
