Default Need laptop with a $700 budget

One of my buddies is looking for a laptop...
He doesnt care about gaming.
All he wants to do is listen to music, watch movies, chat, internet browsing.

He said he might play some games, but he doubts it.

Im not sure where to get one for that budget, but i do know that a dual core is what he should get.
Amd or intel? 1gb or 2gb ram? and how much hdd space would you guys suggest?

Links would be appreciated, thanks

Office Depot is running a special on the Compaq Presario F572US. To see it, go to their web site, click "Weekly Specials" on the right, enter your ZIP, then browse the ad. Not sure if this link will work so you might have to go to their site manually: Office Depot Advertised Specials

-AMD Mobile Athlon X2 TK-53
-GeForce Go 6100 Integrated Graphics
-15.4" Brightview Widescreen
-1GB DDR2
-80GB HDD
-Dual Layer DVD Burner
-Windows Vista Premium
-802.11 b/g WLAN

$449.99 after $180 MIR ($629.99)

That's guaranteed to be the best deal you are going to find. He can put his savings into additional RAM (I suggest two 1GB sticks ordered from NewEgg or someplace else that's cheap).

The image they have on their website is not the actual laptop design. You can view pics and additional specs here: Newegg.com - COMPAQ Presario F572US NoteBook AMD Mobile Athlon 64 X2 TK-53(1.70GHz) 15.4" Wide XGA 1GB 80GB 5400rpm DVD Super Multi NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 - Retail
