Need help reformatting Acer Laptop

Today the lady told me it would often shut down randomly. Crap. She didn't mention that before.

Aaahh.....don't you love it when people leave out that one, tiny, little detail when you're troubleshooting a PC problem.

Anyways, now it definitely seems like a system issue. You could (if you really want) try to see if the fan/heatsink on the cpu is still working or clogged with dust.
