Default need to find out motherboards product number


I have a notebook HP Pavilion dv2000 and I am having motherboard issues and I need to know if there is a command or something that i can do to find out through Windows the motherboards product serial and product number.

Belarc Advisor may give that to you. THe serial number on the bottom of the laptop should also steer you in the right direction. Laptops are very specialized so usually all of the dv2000's will be identical with the exception of the speed of hte processor (usually within 500 mhz or so) and ram.

Google the product name and put the word motherboard at the end of the search and you'll find what you need.
