Yea they don't heat up as bad as most. I am typing this on a rather crappy laptop I got at work for under £200 (ex-display / discontinued model) I am happy with it just gets a little hot.

Talking about hot laptops, don't invest in anything pre 2007 Dell, from my experience they get wayyyy to hot

Out of all the Toshib's i'v tried i'v been pretty impressed

The D400 was a nice laptop for its day it didn't get hot in all the time i had it.

I'v got the Latitude D610, you know the one all the UK newsreaders have. I have had to stick 2 TV remotes on the bottom in the past to stop it overheating
