Default Memory Question

Can i put a stick of DDR2 667MHz RAM into a Dell Inspiron e1405? The specs have 1 stick of DDR2 553 MHz, will that work?

My Gaming Desktop
Abit IP35-E

Intel Core2 Duo E8400 (Thermalright Ultra-120)
Mushkin 2x2GB DDR800 RAM

Creative X-Fi Gamer Edition

Your laptop supports both 667 and 553, so yes it will work fine.

Just note that both sticks will run at the speed of the slowest stick.
