Matte Screen [95% NTSC GAMUT COLOR]?

What's the difference between a matte screen with 95% ntsc gamut color, a regular matte screen and a glossy screen? I know there's differences in colors but is it a big difference that I should spend $200 more on?

Given the awful screens that ship on most laptops I feel any upgrade you can get is generally worthwhile.

Anandtech performs very detailed tests on the color accuracy, brightness, etc so you may want to see if they have tested the model you are looking at.
