Manual for an old laptop?

hey guys

my mother has just purchased her new laptop (Vaio Z series ) so i get her Fujitsu Laptop

Its a model S6311

I am going to buy a ram upgrade to go from 1gb, but the problem is i dont know the max supported memory (2gb or 4gb!??!?!?) and i cant seem to find a manual for the laptop online

anyone care to shed some light on the memory support of that particular model?

If so it will support 2gb, anything older will only support 1gb.

Go to Kingston Technology Company - Where To Go To Find Memory
Look up the manufacture name and model number of your laptop.
It will tell what type of memory it will take.
How much the standard model was shipped with.
Maxium amount of ram it can take.
