Hi all! I bought a Linux SUSE 10 laptop, but now it turned out that I need Windows too. Is it possible to have both on it (RAM is 512)? If yes, how can I install it?
Help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Yes. IF, that is a big IF now, Windows has drivers for the laptop. If there are drivers it will be no issue.

That topic there is great to prepare you for how to get ready to install XP.

How to dual-boot Vista with XP - step-by-step guide with screenshots

Another great guide to read thru. Since you will be isntalling XP you will want to read up on that. But you will need to make sure you have your SUSE disc ready for after the install. You will have to recover GRUB.

I suggest you install Windows FIRST, then install Linux SECOND. This way GRUB will not be overwritten by Windows. Windows's boot loader only allows you to boot Windows OS'es. GRUB (the main Linux bootloader) allows you to boot both Linux OS'es and Windows OS'es (and others too probably). Of course, I would recommend Ubuntu because it pairs really well with Windows, but if you need Suse then just hope it has the same kind of bootloader system.
