Default Lenovo Yoga 500 vs Surface pro 4

Hey, I am starting my first year in the University next year, and I need a laptop.
Most of my time I am watching Netflix and surfing the web, so I am searching for a hybrid laptop, 2 in 1.
I checked laptops for a while and found 2 that are in my budjet and they are looking good:
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 128 GB Intel i5
Lenovo Yoga 500 500 GB Intel i7
I dont know what to choose, I prefer the surface (because of the pen) but lenovo is cheaper.
Other recomendations are welcome as well.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for the help!

What is your planned area of study? That's an important factor in choosing the right device as well.

I generally overshoot a bit what consider just barely necessary to get the current job done. It may cost a bit more, but you'll have some room to grow in the case of the unforeseen.

If I were you, I would choose lenovo. It's very good device, and mostly all reviews make possitive opinion about this laptop. All technologies made by lenovo leave a good impression of it. About Microsoft Surface...one of my best friend tried to fix manufactoring deffect in several technic centres, but nothing helped...
