Lenovo Thinkpad drivers for windows 8?

Hello everyone,

I recently upgraded my Lenovo ThinkPad T500 to Windows 8. I am trying to upgrade my drivers and just wanted to check before making any system changes - does Lenovo offer drivers for Windows 8 yet that are not in beta or am I safe just re-installing the Windows 7 drivers?

And to be more clear, I did a clean install of Windows 8, not an upgrade (poor choice of words on my part in the original post)

Check their website (or the manufacturer of the component itself) if they offer full Win8 drivers yet.

If not, you can try Win7 drivers and see if they work or not.

True. I guess a better question to ask was: has anyone tried the Windows 7 drivers and does anyone have an ETA on when/if Windows 8 drivers would be released for all models? (I found a few Windows 8 drivers for different models).

ETA's are entirely up to the company that makes the product.

Just try the Win7 drivers and see if they work or not.
