Default Laptops errors

I need help with one of my client's computers. His mouse or USB ports aren't working, at first I thought it was the drivers but then I was able to download the remote mouse program so I can use my iPod to use as a mouse. It worked bit not completely. I have the ability to click on things but the mouse cursor is not visible. What would it be?

It is plugged in the wall outlet. Everything else works fine with the laptop. Just the USB ports and the mouse is having issues

Default Re: Laptops errors

Does Device Manager show any devices that are missing drivers (have a yellow exclamation) or are disabled?

Checked BIOS to make sure USB isn't disabled there either?

Tried updating chipset drivers?
