laptop for under $500

My friend is looking for a laptop for under $500. He owns a small business (personal training) and will most likely be using it for that. Not going to be doing any gaming or anything like that. I was looking at these 2 laptops. Let me know what you think or if you guys have any other suggestions. Thanks.

Both of them are good laptops. Along with them i request you to look for 'HP Pavilion dm1z' one most reliable laptop under $500.
