Just posting the specs of my new laptop I'm considering buying. Not particularly an expert in this area so was looking for opinions on what I've selected. Generally I have gone for upgrades that seem the best value for money to me but as I said, bit of a noob.
PROCESSOR Intel® Core™ i7 740QM (1.73 Ghz, 6MB, 4C) edit
OPERATING SYSTEM Genuine Windows® 7 Professional 64bit- English edit
GRAPHICS CARD 1GB ATI® Radeon™ HD 5850 edit
MEMORY 4096MB 1333MHz Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM [2x2048] edit
OPTICAL DRIVE DVD+/-RW (DVD, CD read and write) Slot Load Drive edit
HARD DRIVE 500GB Momentus XT Solid State Hybrid Drive edit
LCD 40cm (15.6") Wide Full HD Display (1920x1080) edit
I opted for the cheapest i7 upgrade, bad move or should I go for the most expensive i5 upgrade?
