Laptop Speakers Play enough though Headphones are plugged in

Hi All,

Ive had this problem with my laptop ive had for awhile now when i plug a usb headphones on the side for some reason the usb card im guess or somthing else is not reading the usb headphones not sure why but it should read it even though the headphones are usb and plug and play type of ones what do you think?

Would buying external speakers fix this problem or would i need to send my laptop in to get fixed?

You need to set the default sound device to the headphones instead of the speakers.
