Okay, first off, thanks for taking the time to view my thread.
Second, here's the issue: On my mothers hp pavilion entertainment pc dv2700, the screen will go almost black soon after startup or unplug from wall. When it is plugged in it won't do this, just to make that clear. I have done a few tests of my own and the battery isnt the issue. Neither are any settings or programs of the computer, hence I'm guessing the inverter is loose. Before I dismantle the computer however, I wanted everyone's opinion or if they know...
