Default Laptop Recommendation

My Friend has been asking me to recommend a laptop for her to buy, she needs it for school purposes and that is about it to type up report etc..

That isn't explaining much at all. What type of work is she doing in school? Does she live in Trinidad as well? What OS is she familiar with? Does she need a lot of space to save all her files? is she even a little gamer? Price range?

Based on the information provided, this notebooks is perfect for her. Its pretty (red), and has enough power and storage to handle of her school work.

Alright sry about the limited information, shes doing science, chen, bio etc. at a tertiary level, yes she lives Trinidad as well, she's familiar with using windows vista and i dont think she needs that much space for storage and she doesnt really play games an price range around $6000 TT

Beware in mind US$1 = TT$6 on average...so would be around $1000 budget US if any recommendations is posted.

Yeah, I thought it would be of a different price difference, just wasn't sure how much. I don't know any stores in that area, maybe shop at some local retail stores and look around.

Going to be a bit hard shopping unless you are sure to buy it online, as MoM states to check local retail stores .
