I was wondering if anyone knew what wireless card is in the Compaq F730us laptop and if so could you point me in the direction of the driver.

Since it's an AMD platform, chances are it's Broadcom 43** based. You can try these, but no guarantees they will work:
Vista: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp36501-37000/sp36542.exe
XP: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp36501-37000/sp36684.exe
You should be able to find most basic drivers for the 730US by using DV6000Z-based drivers, since they share many parts.

Thank you, all of my research told me it was a 43xx broadcom but for some reason I couldn't find that driver.
