Default Laptop Parts supplier

Hi all,

I have a client who has a Compaq Presario F500 GF593UA laptop that needs the LCD screen replaced. I have found a couple sites that offer the screen, but was wondering if any of you have had good experiences with certain vendors that you could recommend.

I've only gone through the manuf. for parts on laptops with the exception of hard drives and ram. I've heard you can get some great deals from craigslist from computers that don't work, but are the same family of laptop. Just the motherboard is fried or something similar and the user is just parting out the laptop.

Thanks Lex for the suggestion of Craigslist. I was able to find a vendor online and they shipped same day and got to the client next day...happy client = happy me!

That's funny you bring up Laptop Parts & Repair, Notebook Computer Repair, Printer Parts - Spare Parts Warehouse because that is exactly the site I used to fulfill the client's order. I didn't want to gush too much about them on here, but since you brought it up, they did a great job.
