Laptop: Dell latitude d820

I wrote here a few weeks ago about my laptops LCD problems displaying fuzzy texts, odd colours and the odd lines across the screen.

It seems there is no hope for the thing as...

I have had a new screen with a new inverter on it and it still shows the same rubbish.
Brand new data cable for the screen, still the same garbage displaying

Its FINE on an external monitor. It is my thought that the problem could be on the jack point on the motherboard for the screen...this one could be a write off

It could be the inner connector to your LCD that is bad. So it runs your GFX card, but not wholly.

I'm not sure where you mean. From what I can see inside, the graphics chip sned its signals via the copper on the PCB. the inner jack is soldered on the wire that connects this jack to the LCD has been changed, to not change.
