Default Laptop advice $500-600

Hey,
my coworker asked for advise on laptop in the 500-600$ range for her daughter who is 16 years old. She doesn't do much gaming I believe but watches some videos and listens to music mostly. I don't have much experience with laptops. Would you recommend something in that price range? Thank you.

$450 - Newegg.com - MSI PR400 NoteBook Intel Pentium dual-core T3400(2.16GHz) 14" Wide XGA 2GB Memory 250GB HDD DVD Super Multi Intel GMA X3100 - Laptops / Notebooks
Here is a decent $450 option. Plenty of grunt for videos and light gaming like World of Warcraft or internet games.

If you can spare an extra $100 and go up to $700, you could get this Sony Vaio. It has more RAM, a better video card, and is pink, which what girl wouldn't love that?
Newegg.com - SONY VAIO NS Series VGN-NS230E/P NoteBook Intel Pentium dual-core T3400(2.16GHz) 15.4" Wide XGA 3GB Memory 250GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi Intel GMA 4500M - Laptops / Notebooks

Man, that MSI laptop got deactivated before she could order it. Would you have another suggestion. The vaio is kinda expensive.

Is this good?

Newegg.com - HP G60-230US NoteBook Intel Pentium dual-core T4200(2.00GHz) 16" 3GB Memory 320GB HDD 5400rpm DVD Super Multi Intel GMA 4500M - Laptops / Notebooks

Yes that is a fairly decent laptop for your needs. I would go against the HP Suxor linked to. That one is factory refurbished, which explains the low cost.
