Default Laptop with 4 cores.

Can you give me a list of models and brands though cheap but good. Laptops which has 4 cores. (usually its i-core series like i5 3rd gen. ) help me out here

That's going to be a big list...

Most mobile i7 are quad (though some are dual-core like i5's). You can also get dual-core i5's with HT, to make 2 physical cores into 4 virtual cores.

Pretty much any i5 or i7 chip with the QM designation is a quad.

Is there i5s that are mobile quads?

Shows no haswell i5 as true quads, only i7s

Checked the whole lineup, guess they made no mobile i5 quads. Either way, if one had MQ it'd be a quad. I think all the 4th gen HQ units are quad designation as well.

Yep, pretty much. Mobile i5's are dual threaded dual cores.

I get it now but how about amd's laptop processors ? Do they have more than dual-core cpu(s)?
