Just wondering if any of you can help me.
I'll be buying a laptop soon, and looking to spend up to 500-£600. I am living in the UK, but everything is cheaper in the US. If there is a laptop in the US for 500-£600 (1000 - 1200$), the chances are it will be considerably better than here in the UK, and also cheaper.
However, I know that many US websites do not ship to the UK, but there are definately some that do.
I'll probably be using it mainly for internet, games and 3D stuff.
I don't know much about laptops at all, but the bottom line is, £600 (1200$) to spend - which one?

ps. Just had a look at my bro's gf's sony vaio, looks very very nice Not sure how good it is spec wise though for the money?

I will be going to Japan in 6 months, for 1 year - just wondering if I will still be able to connect to the internet from there using that wireless card? Not sure what the Europe thing is meaning
