Just Insalled XP...Need Sound!

It's a laptop...and I know that's not it because it just happened when I reformatted and downgraded to XP.

Thought it might have been a PCMCIA card or something. Maybe you could try another XP uninstall / reinstall ? Supposedly onboard sound on laptops aren't as good as the external ones on the average. That is usually the way it is with desktops regarding sound cards. Well, I've exhausted all ideas I can think of. Good luck !
