Default Just bought a HP dv7-1025nr...question(s)

The Microsoft Office Home and Student is just a trial yes?

Hello,

Yes. That will only be a trial that will run for about 60 or 90 days and then prompt you to purchse it.

Unless of course it stated when you bought the laptop that it included a full version of Office Student and Teacher. Then it would be fully legit and working.

Either way when you load it up it should tell you if it is a trial or not.

It was only 304 MB so I am going to assume that it was the trial. I am just going through and deleting the unneccessary crap that HP puts on these things.

As for the size. That is not bad. That seems about right. Office 2007 Ultimate is only 559MB in size. So 304MB for S&T is about right since it doesnt have what Ultimate does.
