i have a t-6330u gateway laptop with windows vista and recently, at the login screen, i would click on it and then the screen would go black but a cursor was in plain sight. i solved that by running it it safe mode and then reducing the screen resolution to 800 x 600. but now, i have tried a command line which appears to reset the ipv6, but got an error message. then tried to run as an administrator but nothing happened and i couldnt access anything in the start menu. when i open the connect to a network window, either it doesnt appear, or it stays completely blank. i need some help trying to figure out what i can do to fix it.

For the resolution sounds like you need to update a driver. As for the others issues you could try a restore point. If that doesn't work possible look into malware. Run some scans in safemode.
