i5 540m temp question

Recoding a movie and hw monitor says I'm at a steady 83c.. Did a Google search and seems like that's alittle high.. Curious what I could do about this.. My fans aren't dusty and I'm using a good surface where the air can flow..

Also seen afew people comment about those laptop cases with the extra fans.. And it not really helping much.. If anyone has there own thoughts on them I'd like to hear..

Repasting your CPU/GPU heatsinks may be a good idea.

You will have to disassemble your laptop to do this (depending on what model you have depends on how much you'd have to disassemble it). You'd want to clean off the old paste, and apply new paste.
